FEATURED WEED White Clover Trifolium repens WEED DESCRIPTION Known for its low-growing behavior and ability to thrive in moist soils, white clover is common in lawns across the country. Look for elliptical, toothed leaves growing in groups of three, as well as white to pink flower clusters that grow from long stems. CONTROL TIPS Clean up any clover that may have survived the winter with a spring application. A postemergence product, such as LockUp® specialty herbicide, can be applied to small weeds prior to flowering.
